Yusen Air & Sea Service (U.K.) Ltd. expanded and moved its Swindon Logistics Centre in September.

The area of the new facility is approximately 9,650m2, making it one of the largest warehouses of the YAS Group in Europe.
Located in a major automotive industry base in the United Kingdom, the Center is primarily engaged in the distribution between
neighboring automobile factories and auto parts manufacturers, and also operates a collection and delivery business in cooperation
with NYK Logistics, a NYK Line Group company, in addition to the storage of cargo and inventory management.
The purpose of the expansion
and move this time is to secure a stable space in response to an increase in the cargo handling volume and the commencement of new business.
At the same time, facilities for the in-and-out store operations of cargo are enhanced, and operating efficiency improves significantly.
We are therefore able to provide logistics services of higher quality.
The logistics business has been held up as a priority enhancement business in the YAS FIVE-STAR PROJECT, the mid-term business plan,
which was started this fiscal year.
The YAS Group will continue to meet the logistics need of customers around the world.
With European cities such as Frankfurt and Amsterdam increasingly
functioning as gateways, the volume of goods shipped from such key points to
Central and Eastern Europe via truck transportation services is also on the
increase. In addition to its existing ISO certified European group companies
such as YAS (DEUTSCHLAND) and YAS (BENELUX), the YAS Group has now acquired
certification for the company, effectively strengthening its high quality
European distribution network even further.her.
