AUTHORISED ECONOMIC OPERATOR (AEO)

It is with pleasure that we can announce Yusen Air & Sea (UK) Limited has been appointed an Authorised Economic Operator by HM Revenue & Customs in the category of “Customs simplifications/security and safety”
with effect March 6th 2009.

The application for status and ultimate approval demonstrates further our desire to provide the best service possible aligned to recognition that protection of a supply chain is of great importance.

We anticipate AEO recognition will become increasingly important over the next few years in the constant battle
against criminal and terrorist activity and hope that this achievement will provide reassurance that our policy
and priority is to protect cargo at all times.
